Welcome to my world – the cosy nest of everybody’s favourite garden bird the chirpy robin.
This Robin is not always chirpy though and, like the bird, takes no prisoners if someone invades my space.
The name is appropriate as I am a red Robin.
Red in my politics (Labour to the core) and red in sport (Welsh rugby XV and [more from family honour than love of the sport] Liverpool FC).
I won’t be boring you with constant politics and hope you will be amused by some of the tales I have to tell.
After all I have worked as a journalist in Wales and England as well as five years in Australia and two in the Middle East (Oman to be precise).
Not all of it has been in journalism – I spent six months touring England with a well-known magician (and his troublemaker friend) and a further two years in cinema management (one in a big London cinema – not in Leicester Square.
